Words to cope

Right after writing that last post, I opened a thank you card for a Memorial Service I attended for KO, one of the veterans that I was privileged to know. The words that were printed in the card really struck home.

Friends and family,
Share your stories of life with KO, remebering that a sorrow shared is half the sorrow and a joy shared is twice the joy.
Speak for his silence,
continue his legacy,
bless the breath of life,
sing of a deep and enduring love,
travel with courage through the adventure of life,
and weave a tapestry of peace.

Marion Lyman-Mercereau

Thanks TK - I know you and the veterans are looking out for me. I will continue to sing your song and love my family as deeply as you did.
